7 Reasons Geeks are Good Lovers
In our journey to becoming great fathers (and mothers), we, as geeks, learn and explore much about the ways of love. Below are seven of the great values that lead the geek to be a lover of lovers. Why seven? Seven is just a lucky number, and we all need to get a little lucky…
A Focus on efficiency.
Some may say that lasting a maximum of 2 minutes is too short. To that I say, pshaw, we’ve simply just become more efficient at it.
In depth analysis.
After writing multi-threaded scripts in our language(s) of choice, we have analyzed hundreds of hours of adult entertainment video clips to determine those special spots that elicited the highest pitched tones from the opposite sex. Research continues.
Great use of value-section movies from Blockbuster.
Some call them bad 80s teen movies - we call them encyclopedias of romance. Yes, with our professor’s with names like ‘Duckie‘ and ‘Long Duk Dong‘, we study intently how best to romance and woo our mates. Who doesn’t enjoy hearing ‘In Your Eyes‘ blaring from an IPod Speaker attachment held high above by the geek’s mighty arms.
We’re happy to send flowers.
After scouring search screens full of coupons and rebates from FatWallet and SlickDeals, we come up holding our flower shop discount code like Excalibur ready to slay the mighty shipping costs from the evil Internet flower shop.
We’ll bring the beer.
Yes, no need to go to the store to buy that six pack, we have $600 worth of equipment in our apartment kitchen’s to brew that wonderful blend of water, barley, sugar, hops, and yeast. Of course, we also have the homemade kegerator hacked out of the mini-fridge we got on sale from Sears with a coupon.
Instant mood setting.
There’s no need to walk all the way over to the wall switch to dim the lights and then all the way to the stereo to start your Barry White track, when you can automate all of it. With one click from our programmable remote the lights are dim, the tunes are pouring through the air, and the mood is ready for some geek love.
Loyal as a lap dog.
Lassie has nothing on loyalty when it comes to a geek finally finding a mate willing to share the nookie.
Yes, seven wonderful reasons to continue spreading your - love with your geek. Please share more - we need anything we can get in our arsenal of love…
